Code Camp 2025 Season 3: Frontend Dev Category

On August 30, 2025, I participated in the concluding session of Code Camp 2025 Season 3 under the Frontend Development category. The program was hosted at Workflow Co-Working Space in Ozamiz City, with many of us joining online through Google Meet. The event was free and open to students, professionals, and even career shifters, and everyone who completed the session received an e-certificate.

Key Sessions and Insights

The session featured several talks highlighting today’s most relevant frontend frameworks:

  • React.js was introduced as a leading framework for building responsive and dynamic user interfaces, explaining why it has become a favorite in modern web development.

  • Angular with TypeScript focused on the structure and scalability it provides for larger projects. During this session, the participants were asked if anyone was familiar with Angular. I was called upon and had the chance to share that I am currently developing a project called Craftster, which we are working on. It was encouraging to connect what I am learning in practice with what was being discussed.

  • Vue.js was presented as a beginner-friendly yet powerful framework, showing its flexibility for developers at different levels.

In addition to these, there was a session on Mastering IT Communication. This talk emphasized that being a developer isn’t just about technical skills—it also requires the ability to communicate effectively with clients, teammates, and stakeholders.

Personal Reflection

What made this webinar meaningful was how it combined technical lessons with professional insights. I learned more about the differences between the three frameworks, but I also realized how important it is to communicate well and work effectively with others in the tech field.

The moment I was called upon during the Angular session also made the experience more personal for me. It allowed me to connect my own work with the discussions and reminded me that learning is most valuable when applied to real projects.

Closing Thoughts

It was unfortunate that I was not able to attend the first part of the series but joining this final session still gave me valuable knowledge and motivation. The certificate serves as proof of participation, but the bigger takeaway is the understanding and perspective I gained.

Code Camp 2025 Season 3 was not just another webinar—it felt like a genuine learning space where technical skills, communication, and collaboration all came together. These lessons will continue to guide me in both my academic journey and future development projects.
